Prized for its blue ribbons woven into the host rock, Royston turquoise was originally discovered in the 1970’s by a herder who stumbled upon a vein of turquoise on the hillside. Actively mined since 1902, production of this unique Nevada turquoise has been small, and quality stones are becoming increasingly rare.
